-Make 2 soles, turning one over so you have a left and a right sole.
SANDAL CENTER:
RND 1: With Olive and J hook ch-7, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 3 ch, 2 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just worked), hdc ea ch across, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next st, hdc next 3 sts, 2 hdc next 2, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (14 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 3 sts, hdc next 3, 2 hdc next 4, hdc next 3, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off. (22 sts)
-Make 1.
LARGE METALLIC CIRCLE:
With Silver and O hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2-4: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 4 fasten off. (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts)
-Make 2.
SMALL METALLIC CIRCLE:
Rep rnd 1-2 of lg metallic circle. Fasten off end rnd 2.
-Make 8.
With needle and thread sew one lg circle and 4 sm circles to sandal’s center motif. Rep for other center motif.
STRAP:
ROW 1: With Olive and J hook ch-3, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-25: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn. End row 25 fasten off.
-Make 4.
Sew one strap to the top back of center motif centering strap. Sew the second strap 2” down from the 1st strap centering. Rep for other motif.
TOE DIVIDER:
ROW 1: With Olive and J hook ch-3, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-8: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn. End row 8 fasten off.
