-Make 2 soles, turning one over so you have a left and a right sole.
FIRST STRAP:
ROW 1: With Cream and J hook ch-6, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 2-3: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 5: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next st, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 7-8: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 9: Hdc next st, 2 hdc last st, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 10: Rep row 5.
ROW 11: Hdc next 2 sts, 2 hdc last st, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 12-15: Rep row 5. End row 15 fasten off.
-Make 2.
Measure in 1” from edge of toe. Sew strap to ea side of sole at this point. Rep for other sole.
SECOND STRAP:
ROW 1: With Cream and J hook ch-6, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 2-22: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 22 fasten off.
-Make 2.
Measure 2-1\2” from where 1 st strap was sewn to sole and sew 2nd strap at this point on ea side. Sew across 1st and 2nd straps where they touch. Rep on other sole.
BOW:
ROW 1: With Red and J hook ch-8, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 2-9: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 9 fasten off.
With a small amount of Red yarn tie around center of bow gathering it tightly. Knot off and sew bow to center of both straps.
