Beginning on one side of the purse weave one of the purse stripes over and under the horizontal stripes and pin in place. You will also want to so this on the opposite side of the purse.
Repeat weaving stripes until all short stripes and purse straps are used. Go back and evenly space the stripes apart and sew in place.
Next weave a short stripe under and over (opposite of previous stripe) the horizontal stripes and pin in place.
