How to Overlap Shoulders On Sweet Pea Outfit For Baby And Then Crochet The Sleeve Photo Tutorial
If you look at the shoulder on this Sweet Pea outfit you will see an overlap at the neckline and where the sleeve begins. This is to allow for an expanding head opening so getting the outfit over baby’s head will be quick and easy.
You begin with 2 shoulders like in the first photo. Measure down from the tip 3” and place a pin. You do this for both shoulders. You then over lap the back shoulder over the front shoulder so the 2 pins meet as in the second photo. You them remove the pins and place through both thickness to hold in place white you crochet in the sleeve. You then work the sleeve like you would normally except when you cover to the overlapping areas you will work through all the thickness when you make the stitch.
