RND 2-4: (2 Hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 4 fasten off. (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts) -make 2. Sew eyes to front of elephant.
TAIL:
ROW 1: With Lemon yarn and F hook ch-4, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 2-5: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 5 fasten off.
Fold tail in half lengthwise and sew tog. With needle and Pumpkin thread make lps at one end of the tail. Sew the other end to the center back of elephant’s body.
