With Suede and J hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.

RND 2-: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd fasten off.
-make 2. Sew ea handle to dog a sides.
FLEA:
With Black crochet thread and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2-4: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)(18 sts)(27 sts)
RND 5-6: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 7: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)
RND 8: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (9 sts) Stuff head.
RND 9: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 10: 2 hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)

LEGS-ARMS:
With Black crochet thread and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2-7: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 7 fasten off.
-make 6 for ea flea.
PUTTING THE FLEA TOGETHER:
Cut 3 chenille stems in half. Take ea half of a stem and fold it in half twisting it to hold. Place twisted stem inside ea crochet leg-arm. Place open ends of 4 legs-arms into the bottom of the flea. With needle and thread sew in place. Sew other two legs-arms to ea side of flea at shoulders.
Using black fabric paint make two eyes a nose and mouth on the flea’s face. Let dry and then come back and place a white dot on ea eye.
RING MASTER HAT:
With Red thread and 7 hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch-1, work 8 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
