RND 2: (2 sc next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (18 sts)

-Make 2. Stuff leg half way and sew bottom to ea leg. Sew one leg to ea side of lion.

TAIL:

With Sandstone and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.

RND 1: Ch-1, work 6 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)

RND 2-3: PT hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.

RND 4-8: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 8 fasten off.

Sew tail to center back of lion.

FINISHING TOUCHES:

Cut the nose and pupils from brown felt. Cut the eyes from beige felt. Glue to face of lion. With fabric paint add a dot or two to pupil of ea eye.
