RND 20: Ch-5, count over 11 sts from join, sl st next st, ch-1, hdc next 5 ch and next 12 sts to form first leg, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (17 sts)
RND 21: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 22: Hdc next st, (hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (13 sts)
RND 23: Rep rnd 21.
RND 24: Rep rnd 22. (10 sts)
RND 25-26: Rep rnd 21.
RND 27: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (5 sts)
Lay opening flat and sl st closed, fasten off.
RND 28: With Green thread and 7 hook join in bottom 1st ch of ch-5 in rnd 20, ch-1, hdc sa st as beg ch-1, hdc next 4 ch, hdc next 12 sts to form 2nd leg, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (17 sts)
RND 29-35: Rep rnd 21-28.
Lay opening flat and sl st closed, fasten off.
Glue the two wiggle eyes on head at rnd 5.
WRAPPINGS:
Row 1: With White and 7 hook ch3, hdc 3rd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece measures 23” long. Make 2. Using photos as guide, beg at the top of the head and wrap one around body ending at bottom one leg. Pin in and place and sew. Rep with other wrapping.
With White and 7 hook ch-150, fasten off. Make 2 and wrap around mummy as you did the wrappings sewing to hold.
ARM:
With Green and 7 hook ch-3, sl st top form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2: Hdc ea st around, join White, fasten off Green, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 3-9: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 9 fasten off.
Make 2. Cut last chenille stem in half. Fold one of the halves in half and then half again, twist stem to hold. Rep with other cut stem. Place twisted stems into arms and sew on either side of the mummy at the neck.
