SCARF AT NECK:
ROW 1: With Boa and H hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 2-18: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 18 fasten off.
SCARF END:
ROW 1: With Boa and H hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 2-26: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 26 fasten off.
PUTTING IT TOGETHER:
On the front of the pillow (one with Claret edging) place the body of the snowman so that it is even with the bottom edge of the navy pillow front. Sew in place. Place the snowman head so that it is even with the top edge of the navy pillow front. Sew in place. Place the shorter of the two boa pieces across the neck of the snowman covering top and bottom of head and body edges. Sew in place. Fold the last boa piece so that the end are not even, sew in the center front of the neck scarf.
Using the pattern cut the eyes from the black felt and glue in place. If you like add a dot of the gray paint on the felt as highlight. Following Sculpy instructions make and bake a carrot nose for the snowman. Let cool then glue to the snowman’s face.
Sew the back of the pillow to the front matching Navy edges. Fill with stuffing then sew closed.
