RND 7: (2 sc next st, sc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (50 sts)
RND 8: Rep rnd 5.
RND 9: (2 sc next st, sc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (60 sts)

Cut a piece of cardboard to the size of this piece. Firmly stuff doll and dress. If at this point you do not think the doll is stable enough to stand on her own, insert two wooden skewers through stuffing and into doll’s head. With needle and matching yarn sew base to bottom of dress inserting cardboard as you sew.
HEARTS:
ROW 1: With pink and E hook ch-2, sc 2nd ch from hook, ch-1, turn.(1 st)
ROW 2: 2 sc next st, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 3: 2 sc in next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 4: 4 hdc 1st st, sl st next 2 sts, 4 hdc last st, sl st in same st as 4 hdc, fasten off.
-Make a total of 36 hearts.
With needle and pink thread sew 12 heart randomly on skirt of dress. Sew 10 hearts tog to form a chain of hearts. Sew end hearts tog to form a loop of hearts. Sew this loop to bodice centering 1 heart at waist and the other over shoulders. Sew 14 hearts tog as you did for the bodice. Sew these hearts along the bottom edge of the skirt.
