MATERIALS: Size 5 DMC Pearl Cotton in Lilac and White and size O (zero) crochet hook.
GAUGE: Flower only: 1” diameter. Flower w White backing: 1” x 2”
FLOWER:
With Lilac DMC and O hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, (sc in ring, ch-3) 4 times, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
RND 2: Ch-1, (sc, 7 dc, sc) in ea lp around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
RND 3: Ch-1, sc in beg ring behind petal in rnd 1, ch-4, (sc, ch-4) twice in ea sp around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
RND 4: Ch-1, (sc, 9 dc, sc) in ea lp around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
WHITE BACKING:
With White DMC and O hook ch-6, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, sc in ring, (ch-5, sc in ring) 4 times, ch-5, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
RND 2: Ch-1, * hdc, dc, trc, (ch-5, sl st in 5 th ch) 3 times, sl st base 1st ch-5, trc, dc, sc, in same lp, ch-5, sl st in 5 th ch, 8 rep bet ** in ea lp around ending with sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
Sew or glue flower to center of backing.
RING BEARER PILLOW:
Worked using Lion Brand Micro Spun yarn in Lily White and size H crochet hook, you will also need a small amount of stuffing, small amount of 1\4” wide ribbon to hold the rings onto the pillow and needle to take yarn. Finished size: 5-1\2” X 6-1\2”. Gauge: 5 st combination sts = 1”, 3 rows pattern = 1”.
ROW 1: With Lily White and H hook ch-31, sc 2 nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across to last ch, dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (30 sts)
ROW 2-24: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn. End row 24 fasten off.
-make 2. Sew sides tog, stuffing as you sew.
Using the photos as a guide place flowers in the pattern of your choice and sew to the pillow’s top. Pull some 1\4” wide ribbon bet a couple of sts to hold the rings in place.
