ROW 2: 2 sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 3: Rep row 2. (8 sts)
ROW 4-10: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 11: (Sc dec next 2 sts) across, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 12: Rep row 11. (2 sts)
ROW 13: Sc dec next 2 sts, sl st top beg row 1, DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
ROW 14: Ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn, 2 sts)
ROW 15-25: Rep rows 2-13.
ROW 26: Sc dec next 2 sts, sl st top row 14, fasten off.
BOW CENTER:
ROW 1: With white thread and 7 hook ch-4, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2 ch, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 2-9: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. At the end of row 9 fasten off.
Wrap center around the middle of the bow and glue ends in place. Sew or glue one half of bow to left side of coat over collar. Sew or glue one half of a snap to the wrong side center of other bow half. Sew or glue the responding half of a snap in the appropriate place on collar of coat.
