ROW 6: Sc next st, sk next st, dc dec next 2 sts, fasten off. (2 sts)
-Make 4 in Pastel Pink and 4 in Lilac.
With needle and yarn and using the picture as a guide, sew the pink toenails, eyelid and ear to the lilac elephant and the lilac toenails, eyelid and ear to the pink elephant. Outline st for the nose and line bet legs.
STRAP\GUESSET:
ROW 1: With Pastel Pink and E hook ch-15, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across ending with dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (14 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece measures 36” long, join Lilac yarn, fasten off Pink and continue with row 2 until pieces measures 72” in total length.
Sew ends tog to make a lg lp. Sew to pink Elephant centering color change at bottom of feet and leaving the top or last row across worked on elephant free. Rep for Lilac side.
FLOWER:
With color a yarn and E hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 10 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (10 sts)
RND 2: Join color B in any st, ch-1, (sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc) same st, * sl st next st, (sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc) next st, rep from * around ending with sl st next st, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
-Make 5 flowers with pink centers and white petals. Make 5 flowers with white centers and pink petals. Make 5 flowers with lilac centers and white petals. Make 5 flowers with white centers and lilac petals.
Sew 3 of ea in pink combinations on lilac side of elephant, and 3 of ea lilac combinations on the pink side of elephant. Sew remaining flowers on strap.
