ROW 42-46: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 46 fasten off.
With needle and yarn sew tog at shoulders.
BOTTOM EDGE OF VEST:
ROW 1: With Tea Leaf and E hook join in bottom of row 1, hdc dec sa st as beg ch-1, and next st, hdc next 5 sts, hdc dec next 2 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (7 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 3, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (5 sts)
ROW 3: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 4: Hdc next st, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 5: Hdc dec next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 6: Hdc only st, fasten off.
Rep on other end of row 1 of bottom of vest.
Place vest on doll. Take a 20” length of yarn and thread through sts on ea side of vest like you were putting shoe stings on a shoe, tie in bow and trim ends.
