PUTTING WAIST TRIM TOGETHER:
Sew the Black Underlay to the bottom edge of the Ribbing over lapping slightly. Sew this completed section to the White overlay, again over lapping slightly. Sew this completed trim around dress at just below the sleeves.
COLLAR:
ROW 1: With White and E hook ch-5, sc 2nd ch from hook, dc next, sc next, dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
ROW 2-41: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn. End row 41 fasten off.
With needle and crochet thread sew collar around neck edge. With needle and thread, sew 3 snaps down back opening of dress. Cut “ of ribbon and sew around collar’s base where collar meets dress. Find center of remaining ribbon and tie a bow. Tack bow to back of dress at collar.FLOWER:
With Black and 7 hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: (Ch-3, 2 dc, ch-3, sl st) in ring 3 times, join White, fasten off Black, (ch-4, 3 trc, ch-4, sl st) in ring twice, do not turn.
RND 2: (Ch-3, work 3 hdc in next dc on next petal (black petal), 3 hdc next dc, ch-3, sl st bet next two petals) 3 times, fasten off.
-make 13 flowers for dress hem, 12 flowers (6 ea sleeve) for sleeves and 8 flowers for waist. Sew around respective parts above ribbing.
SHOE (MAKE 2):
RND 1: With Black and E hook ch-10, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc next 6 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next 6, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)
RND 2: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 6, 2 dc next, 3 dc next, 2 dc next, hdc next 6, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (25 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 6, 2 dc next 3, 3 dc next, 2 dc next 3, hdc next 6, 2 hdc last 4 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (39 sts)
RND 4-7: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 8: Sc next 20 sts, (sk next st, sc next 2 sts) 3 times, sc last 10 sts, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
RND 9: Sc next 10 sts, (sk next st, sc next 2 sts) 3 times, sc last 17 sts, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (33 sts)
HAT:
RND 1: With White and E hook ch-61, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, (sc next ch, dc next ch) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (60 sts)
