ROW 8: Sl st next 4 sts, fasten off.
ALL OVER DESIGN:
You will need either 7 blue flowers or the sa number of the pink flowers and 6 leaves.  Using the photo as a guide sew one flower to the center of the finished tote. Then sew 6 leaves-one bet ea petal around center flower.  Sew 6 more completed flowers around the center flower in between the leaves. Or you could just stop at the center flower surrounded with leaves.
FLOWERS AT THE BOTTOM: You will need 9 blue flowers or the sa number of the pink flowers.  Using the photo as a guide sew flowers to outside of finished tote along the bottom edge making sure the petal from one flower touches another flower.
FLOWERS AT THE TOP: You will need 22 of completed blue flowers or the sa number of the pink flowers.  Using the photo as a guide sew flowers to outside of finished tote along the top edge in two rows and making sure the petal from one flower touches another flower.
FLOWERS ACROSS THE HANDLES: You will need 18 (9 ea handle) of completed blue flowers or the sa number of the pink flowers.  Using the photo as a guide sew flowers to outside of finished tote along the complete handle line and making sure the petal from one flower touches another flower.  You could also just do the part of the handles that stick above the tote or with a combination of any or the other design possibilities.  It really is a versatile pattern.
