Row 5: Hdc only st, fasten off.
-Rep until 4 petals have been made. Make 2 small flowers.
Flower’s Center:
With Sunshine State and J hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch-1, work 12 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 2-3: (Sk next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 3 fasten off. (6 sts)(3 sts)
Leaf:
Row 1: With Florida Keys Green and J hook ch-8, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
Row 2: Hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts, hdc dec last 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
Row 3: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) twice, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
Row 4: Hdc dec next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
Row 5: Hdc only st, fasten off. -Make 8 leaves.
Putting The Purse Together:
Lay the purse on a flat surface so the front of the purse is facing up. Position the flower where you want it and layer it. Work out where you would like the put the leaves and pin in place. With needle and thread sew all pieces to purse. Sew center to center of the layered flower. Sew end of purse handles to wrong side of purse at purse tabs. If you like, line the purse.
