MATERIALS:
1 skein Bernat Baby Sport in Funny Prints, size F crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, 118 pop tabs total (60 pop tabs for the rose, 58 pop tabs for the side & bottom), small amount of fabric for lining, sewing needle and sewing thread for lining.
Gauge: 5 hdc = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”, 2 V sts = 1”, 3 rows V st = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: 10” diameter. Rose is 4-1\4” across.
ROSE (You will need 60 pop tabs to make rose):
With yarn and F hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 15 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (15 sts)
RND 2: Sc 1st st, (ch-4, sk 2 sts, sc next st) 4 times, ch-4, sk next 2 sts, sl st top beg sc, do not turn. (5 lps)
RND 3: * (sc lp, sc around pop tab) twice * rep bet ** ea lp around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
RND 4: * (Ch-5. work 5 sc in top next 2 pop tabs, ch-5, sc in st in rnd 3, * rep bet ** around, do not turn.
RND 5: (Ch-6, working behind petals, sc top sc from rnd 4) around, do not turn. (5 lps made)
RND 6: * (Sc lp, sc around pop tab) 4 times * rep bet ** ea lp around, sl st top beg sc, do not turn.
