EYE SOCKETS:
With Spring Green and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
-make 2. Stuff ea socket lightly and glue wiggle eye in place. Sew to top of alligator’s head.
NOSTRIL:
With Spring Green and H hook ch-3, sc 2nd, sc last ch, fasten off.
-make 2. Sew to top end of nose.
LEGS:
With Spring Green and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)
RND 4-5: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 5 fasten off.
-make 4.
INSIDE BOTTOM FOR LEGS:
With Spring Green and H hook rep rnd 1 of legs, fasten off.
-make 4. Stuff ea leg lightly to rnd 2. Sew bottom to inside of legs at rnd 2. Knot one end of yarn to inside edge of leg, thread one wooden bead onto yarn and slide down to inside of leg, sew to corresponding side, knot and fasten off. Rep for all 4 legs. Sew legs to bottom of alligator.
TOE NAILS (OPTIONAL)
With Hunter Green and H hook ch=3, sc 2nd ch from hook, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of foundation row (in bottom sts just made) sc, fasten off. (5 sts)
-make 3 for ea leg and sew in place.
