RND 2: 2 hdc next st, hdc next 5, 2 hdc next 2, hdc next 5, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
RND 3: 2 hdc next 2 sts, hdc next 6, 2 hdc next 3, hdc next 6, 2 hdc last st, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.  (24 sts)
With double strand Brown DMC and needle embroider an outline st for the mouth and nose.
EARS (MAKE TWO):
With Blue Boucle and H hook rep row 1-2 of eye background.
ROW 3: Hdc next 3 st, 2 hdc next 4, hdc last 3 sts, fasten off. (14 sts)
EYE (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With Brown DMC and 6 hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc next ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in the bottom of the sts just made), hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (7 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc next 2 sts, 2 hdc next 3, hdc last 2 sts, join White, fasten off brown, ch-1, turn.  (10 sts)
ROW 3: Hdc next 3 sts, 2 hdc next 4, hdc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn. (14 sts)
ROW 4: Hdc next 3 sts, (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) 4 times, hdc last 3 sts, fasten off.  (18 sts)
With double strand of White DMC and needle make a French knot in the center of one eye.  Make two French knots in the center of the other eye.  Sew one eye to ea eye background.
INNER EAR (MAKE TWO):
With Dusty Rose DMC and 6 hook rep row 1-3 of ear. Sew one inner ear to the bottom edge of each ear centering. With needle and thread sew the finished muzzle and eyes to front of monkey and one ear at ea side.
HAND (MAKE FOUR):
With Blue Boucle and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (8 sts)
RND 2-3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)(18 sts)
ROW 4: (1st finger) hdc next 3 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn.  (3 sts)
