There were the 3 top petals, two bottom petals, different color center accents and it laid flat.
But it didn’t look like the picture in my head.
The center was all wrong.
The top 3 petals weren’t large enough and I just hated it!

Back to my hook and yarns for another attempt.
You see, that’s what designing is. A series of trials and errors until you get the look you want. Lucky for me, my second attempt was much better!

I lost the center color in the bottom petals and their half of the circle. I also made the top petals bigger and more round and let the center thin and widen as the petal does.
