MATERIALS:
Two 150 yd balls size 10 crochet thread in White and 1 in Black, size E & 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take crochet thread, 3 small snaps, 20” of 1\8” wide black ribbon, sewing needle and sewing thread
GAUGE: E hook: 12 sc-dc combination sts = 2”, 6 rows pattern = 1”. 7 Hook: flower is 1”.
FINISHED SIZE: Will fit 18” American Girl doll or look alike doll.
About the yarn I used:
I used Aunt Lydia’s size 10 crochet thread, but any size 10 crochet thread will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
