MATERIALS: 2 skeins Homespun yarn in Colonial, Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn in Soft Blue and Blue Bon-Bon, size K & F hook or hook to obtain gauge and needle to take yarns.
GAUGE: Homespun: 3 hdc = 1”, 5 rows hdc = 2-1\2”. Bernat: 4 hdc = 1”, 3 rows hdc =1”
FINISHED SIZE: 11” wide X 10” tall X 2” deep
About the yarn I used:
I used Homespun yarn for the tote which is a Bulky type yarn, but any #5 yarn will work. Just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, do up one size in your hook.
