Patterns Written In US Terms

MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet thread in Black, Pumpkin and White, 7 crochet hook or hook needed to obtain gauge, needle to take crochet thread, two 18” chenille stems, one 1\2” wooden doll head, two 1-1\2” wooden wheels, of 1\4” wide wooden dowel, 12” of 1\4” wide red ribbon, brown and pink embroidery threads with needle, craft glue and small amount of stuffing.
FINISHED SIZE: Autumn Fairies: 3-1\2” tall; Cat: 2-1\2” tall; Pumpkin (without wheels) 2” tall X 3-1\2 wide.
Gauge:  8 hdc sts = 1”, 6 rows hdc = 1”

I used Aunt Lydia’s size 10 crochet thread, but any size 10 crochet thread will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
