8[9]{10}/11/ oz Sugar ‘N Cream worsted weight cotton yarn in White (00001), Size L & E crochet hooks or hook to obtain gauge, 350[500]{650}/800/ yds size 10 crochet thread (Aunt Lydia’s) in Bridal Blue (479), two 6” diameter brass rings, needle to take yarn and crochet thread.

About the yarn I used:
I used Sugar ‘n Cream yarn (#4) , but any Baby #4 yarn will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
