MATERIALS: Size 10 crochet thread in Pumpkin, Black and Myrtle Green, needle to take threat, One 1” wooden doll head, 6 chenille stems, small amount of yellow felt, craft glue, small amount of stuffing, Black fabric paint and size 7 crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge.
FINISHED SIZE: 7” tall total decoration, Witch is 4” tall with hat, both pumpkins are 2” tall.
Gauge: 9 hdc sts = 1”, 7 rows hdc = 1”
About the yarn I used:
I used Aunt Lydia’s size 10 crochet thread, but any size 10 crochet thread will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
