RND 6: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off. (6 sts)
With needle and black yarn, sew the arms and legs tog at the tops to form the body.
COLLAR:
With Green yarn and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2-3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1 turn. (18 sts)(27 sts)
RND 4: (Ch-6, sl st next st) around, fasten off.
Sew collar to bottom of finished pumpkin head. Sew this to top of body.
ARM & LEG TRIM (MAKE 4):
With Green and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: (Ch-6, sl st next st) around, fasten off.
Sew one to end of ea arm and leg.
HAND, LEG & STEM:
RND 1: with yarn and H hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc next ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
Make 4 in pumpkin yarn and one in green yarn. Stuff ea pumpkin yarn one and sew one to ea end of arm and leg at trim. Stuff the green one and sew to top of pumpkin man’s head.
Using the patterns cut out nose, mouth and eyes from felt. Glue to face unless you intend this for a child then sew ea piece of felt to the head.
