Mint Dress with Hearts Doll With Stand

MATERIALS: Baby wt yarn in Mint Green and Baby Pink, size E hook and needle to take yarn, 70 mm porcelain doll head and hands, needle to take yarn, needle and pink thread, stuffing, cardboard, two wooden skewers (optional) and craft glue.
GAUGE: 6 sc = 1”, 6 rows sc = 1”
STITCH NOTE: The stitches used to make the raised sts are Front Post dc or Fpdc and Back Post dc or Bpdc. This is a dc worked around the previous row’s st instead of in the top of the sts as normally done. In the Fpdc you are working the st by inserting your hook from the front of the piece, behind the previously worked st and then back through to the front, yo and work as established for dc. Bpdc is the same but instead of inserting your hook from the front of the piece you insert it from the back of the piece and then around the previously worked dc and then back through the back, yo and finish working normal dc.

ROW 1: With mint and E hook ch-93, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (92 sts)

ROW 3: Sc next st, * Bpdc next st, sc next 7 sts, Bpdc next st, sc next st, rep from * 9 times, sc last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc next st, * sc next 2 sts, Fpdc next st, sc next 5 sts, Fpdc next st, sc next st, rep from * 9 times, sc last st, ch-1, turn.
