RND 8: (Sc next st, dc dec next 2 sts) around to last st, sk last st, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 9-15: *Sc next st, dc next st, rep from * around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 15 fasten off.
Glue arm into small end of sleeve. After that is dry, stuff slender portion of sleeve, do not stuff large upper portion. Sew a line of basting sts around top of sleeve, pull close and knot off. Sew to torso at shoulders.
SKIRT:
RND 1: With Blue and E hook join any lp left over st of rnd 2 of torso, ch-1, (sc, dc) ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
RND 2-4: *Sc next st, dc next st, rep from * around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 5: [Sc next st, dc next st, (sc, dc) next 2 sts] rep around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (60 sts)
RND 6- 40: *Sc next st, dc next st, rep from * around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 40 fasten off.
With matching thread sew two snaps at the bottom of skirt.
POTPOURRI BAG:
Cut two 4” X 5” rectangles from satin. With rt sides tog, sew leaving one short side open. Turn so rt sides face out and fill with a small amount of potpourri and stitch opening closed. Insert potpourri bag into skirt, snap to close.
LACE ROBE:
ROW 1: With Vanilla and E hook ch-83, dc 8th ch from hook, * ch-2, sk 2 ch, dc next ch, rep from * across, turn. (27 sts and 26 ch-2 sps)
ROW 2: Ch-1, sc in 1st dc, * ch-9, sk 1 dc, [sc, ch-4, 2 trc cl st (work trc in same st leaving last lp n hook twice, yo through all lps on hook-2 trc cl st made), sk next dc, (2 trc cl st, ch-4, sc) in next dc; rep from * to last 2 sps, ch-3, sk next dc, sc in 3rd ch of beg ch-8 or row 1, turn. (6 bottom flowers made.
ROW 3: Ch-10 (1st trc + ch-4), sc in next ch-9 lp, * ch-4, sl st top next 2 trc cl st, work {2 trc cl st, ch-4, sl st same st, ch-4, 2 trc cl st] in same st, ch-4, sc in next ch-9 lp: rep from * to end, ch-4, trc in last sc, turn. (You now have 6 finished flowers)
ROW 4: Ch-1, sc in 1st trc, * ch-5, sc top of next 2 trc cl st: rep from * across ending with sc in 6th ch of ch-10 from beg row 3, turn.
ROW 5: Ch-5 (1st dc + ch-2), dc next ch-5 lp, ch-2, dc next sc, * ch-2, dc next ch-5 lp, ch-2, dc next sc, rep from * across, turn.
Rep pattern sequence of row 2-5 a total of 6 more times, fasten off.
At top of robe count over to 3rd ch-5 lp from edge in 2nd row from top, carefully insert arm in this space all the way to shoulder. Rep same placement on other side. With matching thread run a basting st across top of robe, gather to fit torso, knot off.
Tie ribbon around doll’s waist. Sew two ribbon flowers at top of lace robe and remaining flowers across the bottom of the skirt.
