Stuff body and with yarn and needle sew bottom to body.
ARMS (MAKE TWO):
With white and H hook ch-3, sl st to from a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 4 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
RND 2: Work 2 hdc in ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 3: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, turn.
RND 4: *Sl st next st, ch-6, * rep bet ** ending with sl st top beg sl st this rnd, turn.
RND 5: Press lps to back of work, ch-1, hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, turn.
RND 6-15: Rep rnd 4-5 alternating. At the end of rnd 15 fasten off.
With needle and yarn sew arms to ea side of snowman.
NOSE:
With pumpkin and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, dh-1, turn.
RND 3: Sc next st, sk next, sc next 3, sk next, sc next 2, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (6sts)
RND 4: Sc next st, sk next, sc next 2, sk next, sc last st, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)
RND 5: Sc next st, sk next st, sc next st, sk next st, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (2 sts)
Stuff nose lightly and sew to center of face. With needle and thread sew the lg black buttons on the face for the eyes and the 4 sm buttons for the mouth.
MUFFLER:
ROW 1: With royal and H hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, * dc next ch, sc next ch, * rep bet ** to last ch, dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) across, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until muffler is long enough to wrap around the snowman’s neck and tie.
FRINGE:
Cut three 5” piece of royal yarn. Fold yarn in half, insert hook into one end st, pull top lp of yarn through, pull ends of yarn through this lp. Rep across both ends of muffler. Tie muffler around snowman’s neck.
EAR MUFF (MAKE TWO):
With royal and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work (sc, dc) 5 times in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2: (Sc, dc) ea st around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (20 sts)
Sew one muff to ea side of snowman’s head. Wrap the chenille stem around a pencil. Stretch to fit bet muffs and tack in place.
