MATERIALS: 1-100 yd skein Lion Brand Thick & Quick chenille yarn Scarlet, small amount Red Heart Baby Clouds yarn in Cloud (white), Flesh colored felt, Black felt, Green felt, small amount of stuffing, needle and thread and size J hook or hook needed to obtain gauge and several colored permanent markers.
FINISHED SIZE: about 12” tall
Gauge: Chenille yarn: arm\leg 2” diameter, body 3 1\2” diameter
Baby Clouds yarn: arm\leg 2 3\4” diameter, body 4” diameter.
ARM\LEG YO-YO (MAKE 18):
With Chenille yarn and J hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 11 dc in ring, sl st top beg dc, fasten off.
BODY YO-YO (MAKE 6):
With chenille and J hook rep rnd 1 of arm\leg, do not fasten off.
RND 2: Ch-1, 2 dc ea st around, sl st top beg dc, fasten off.
WHITE ARM\LEG YO-YO (MAKE 4):
With baby clouds yarn and J hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-4, work 16 trc in ring, sl st top beg ch-4, fasten off.
WHITE BODY YO-YO (MAKE 1):
With baby clouds yarn and J hook rep rnds 1-2 of chenille yo-yo, do not fasten off.
RND 3: Ch-1, (2 sc next st, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. (33 sts)
HAT:
RND 1: With white and J hook ch-30, sl st to from a ring, ch-1, sc ea ch around, join chenille, sl st top beg sc, fasten off white, ch-1,turn. (30 sts)
RND 2: (Sc dec next 2 sts, sc next 8 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (27 sts)
RND 3: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 4: (Sc dec next 2 sts sc next 7 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (24 sts)
RND 5: (Sc dec next 2 sts, sc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (18 sts)
