STRAP\GUSSET:
ROW 1: With Light Sage and H hook ch-11, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across ending with dc last ch, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece measures 50” long. With needle and yarn sew ends tog to form a lg lp. Sew strap 3\4 of the way around the sunflower. Rep for the back making sure to match opening on the sunflower.
CENTER OPENING GUSSET:
ROW 1: With cornmeal and H hook ch-7, sc 2nd ch from hook, (dc next ch, sc next ch) across ending with dc last st, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 2: (Sc next st, dc next st) across, ch-1, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece measures 11” long. Make 2. Beg at the inside of strap where opening beg, sew across. Rep for the other side overlapping a couple of sts along the edge of the first one sewn to tote.
