SKIRT FOR DRESS:
ROW 1: Working along the bottom foundation ch of row 1 of bodice, join red thread end of row, ch-1, sc same st as ch-1, (2 sc next st, sc next st) across, ending with 2 sc last st, ch-1, turn.  (57 sts)
ROW 2:  (2 sc next st, sc next 2 sts) across, ch-2, turn.  (76 sts)
ROW 3: Hdc ea st across, ch-3, turn.
ROW 4: Dc ea st across, ch-3, turn.
ROW 5: Dc next st, (2 dc next st, dc next 4 sts) across, ch-3, turn.  (91 sts)
RND 6: Sl st last st of row 5 overlapping it with the 1st st of row 5, YOU ARE NOW WORKING IN RNDS, Ch-3, dc ea st around, sl st top beg ch-3, ch-3, turn.  (90 sts)
RND 7-8: Dc ea st around, sl st top beg ch-3, ch-3, turn.
RND 9: (2 dc next st, dc next 8 sts) around, sl st top beg ch-3, fasten off.
STRIPE SKIRT:
ROW 1: With Red and 7 hook ch-29, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (28 sts)
ROW 2: Sc ea st across, join White, fasten off Red, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc ea st across, join Red, fasten off White, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Rep row 3.
ROW 6-71: Rep row 2-5 ending on row 2 (white)

Sew short ends tog to form a tube.
