RND 6: Hdc next st, (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (100 sts)
RND 7-13: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 13 fasten off.
ROW 14: With navy and 7 hook count over 50 sts from join in rnd 13, join that st, ch-1, hdc dec sa st as ch-1 and next st, hdc next 96 sts, hdc dec next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (98 sts)
ROW 15-54: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row you should have 58 sts, and fasten off.
SKIRT INSERT:
ROW 1: With white thread and 7 hook ch-49, hdc in 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (47 sts)
ROW 2: Bk lp hdc ea st across, join red, drop white, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Hdc ea st across, pick up white, drop red, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Rep row 3.
ROW 6: Hdc ea st across, pick up red, drop white, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7: Rep row 3.
ROW 8-30: Rep row 3-6 repeating sequence.
