Stuff head and tail pieces. With needle and matching yarn sew the head to one end at cover and the tail at the other end.
Make the bumps across the alligator’s back. (Again I am showing it in a contrasting color and I am showing just one line of bumps, there will be two on the toy.) Sew bumps along aback of the alligator beginning at the top of the head, over the stitched you made to form the curve in the body and end just at the beginning of the tail. At this point you go on to sew the second bumps, eyes and feet which I think is self-explanatory.
