Finish making your background stitches up to the stitch before your pop corn stitch. Here is where you will make the color change. I’m using double crochet. Make a dc to the point where 2 lps are still on your hook (just before it’s finished)
Drop the background color, pick up the color you want to use for the pop corn stitch, yo, pull through the lps on your hook to finish the stitch.
Work 5 double crochet in the same stitch.
Remove hook, insert it in the first double crochet you made from front to back.
