Overskirt:
Row 1: With pink yarn and E hook ch-62, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.
Row 2-16: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 16 do not ch-1, turn.
Row 17: (Ch-4, sl st next st, ch-3, sl st next st) across, fasten off.
With needle and yarn run a line of basting (large) stitch across the top of the underskirt at about row 15 working over and under stitch. Pull tight to gather, knot off. Try to work the gathers evenly toward both ends leaving the very back center of the underskirt flat. Place around doll at waist and sew in place.
Trim:
Row 1: With Pink thread and 7 hook ch-6, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-5, turn.
Row 2: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
Row 3 Hdc ea st across, ch-5, turn.
Row 4-18: Rep row 2-3.
Row 19: Hdc ea st across, turn piece so you will now be working down the long side of the lace, * (trc, ch-1) 7 times, trc in ch-5 lp, sc next ch-5 lp * rep bet ** across with the last sc being worked in the side of next row, turn.
Row 20: Ch-1, sc 1st sc, * (ch-3, sc next ch-1 sp) 6 times, ch-3, sc next sc * rep bet ** across, end by sl st in side of next row on short side of lace, fasten off.
-Make 8. Sew 2 around bottoms ea sleeve. Sew 1 around neck edge. Sew the remaining trim layering at front of doll between overskirt edges.
Bow:
With Gold and 7 ch- 26, fasten off. Tie into a bow and trim ends.
-Make 6. Sew 1 to ea sleeve at side, sew 2 at center front of bodice and last 2 on first trim.
Marie Antoinette In Aprons & Lace:
Additional Materials: 1-2 ozs Red Heart Baby Soft yarn in Light Rose (7722), size E crochet hook, Size 10 crochet thread in White and in metallic Gold, size 7 crochet hook, needle to take yarn, sewing needle and sewing thread.

Row 1: With Gold thread and 7 hook ch-10, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
