ROW 10: Hdc only st, ch-1, turn.
RND 11: Evenly sc ea st and row around working 3 sc in ea pt of petal, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
-make 12 total: 3 for ea block. With needle and yarn sew 3 petals to ea block on solid brown part and overlapping petals. Do this for all four curved blocks.
SOLID BLOCK:
ROW 1: With Walnut and H hook ch- 24, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (22 sts)
ROW 2-17: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 18: Evenly sc ea st and row around working (sc, ch-2, sc) in ea corner, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
-make 4. With needle and yarn sew solid blocks to petal blocks in rows of 2 and alternating block pattern. Sew rows of two into blocks of 4 squares ea.
SIDE:
ROW 1: With Walnut and H hook ch-10, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
ROW 2-18: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 19-24: 2 hdc 1st st, hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. (9 sts)(10 sts)(11 sts)(12 sts)(13 sts)(14 sts)
ROW 25-39: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 39 fasten off.
-make 2, Sew to ea side of tote.
BOTTOM:
ROW 1: With Walnut and H hook ch-16, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (14 sts)
ROW 2-39: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 39 fasten off. Sew to bottom of tote.
HANDLES:
ROW 1: With yarn and H hook ch-5, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)
ROW 2-55: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 55 fasten off.
-make 2 in Walnut and 4 in Off White. Holding two Off White handles tog with 1 Walnut handle, braid and secure ends. Sew ends to one side of tote to form the handle. Rep for other side.
SMALL ESSENTIALS CARRIER FRONT:
ROW 1: With Walnut and H hook ch-18, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)
ROW 2-11: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 12: Evenly sc ea st and row around working (sc, ch-2, sc) in ea corner, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
Make 3 petals and sew to front like you did for the tote.
