Patterns Written in US Terms

-Make and join 4 rows of 5 blocks ea for front and 4 rows of 5 blocks ea for back/a total of 40 blocks made.

SIDE/BOTTOM:

ROW 1: With Prints and F hook ch-14, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)

ROW 2-120: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 120 fasten off.

With needle and yarn sew to sides and bottom of back and front.

HANDLES:

Please note, you will be working with two pop tabs, rough sides tog all though out.

Ch-2, ( * Sl st 1st opening of pop tab, ch-3, sl st 2nd opening of sa pop tab * , ch-1) rep bet () 24 times, rep bet ** once, ch-2, sl st sa pop tab, turn piece so you are now going down the other side of tabs, Ch-3, sl st 2nd opening sa pop tab, ch-1, rep bet () 23 times, ch-2, sl st top beg sl st on very 1st pop tab worked.

-Make 2. Sew to inside of tote.

LINING:

Using the front or the back as a pattern, cut 2 out of fabric allowing 1\2” all around for hem. Pin under 1\2” all around ea fabric piece and press. Sew this to the front and back of the tote with wrong sides together.
