RND 4: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.

RND 5: Working in Bk Lps this rnd only, (sc next st, dc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.

RND 6-19: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 19 fasten off.

FRONT HALF OF PURSE:

ROW 1: With Blue thread, E hook and wrong side of purse facing you, join in bk lp (working in bk lp this rnd only) 2nd st from join rnd 19, ch-1, sc same st as beg ch-1, (5 trc next st, sc next st) 12 times, leave remaining sts unworked, fasten off.

ROW 2: With Blue thread, E hook and right side of purse facing you, join in left over lps from row 1, ch-1, work 3 sc in left over lps next 24 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, turn. (72 sts)

ROW 3: Ch-5 (dc + ch-2 now and throughout), sk next 3 sts, dc next 4 sts, (ch-2, sk next 2 sts, dc next st) 3 times, * dc next 3 sts, (ch-2, sk next 2 sts, dc next st) twice, ch-2, sk next 2 sts * rep bet ** across ending with (Ch-2, sk next 2 sts, dc next st) twice, turn.

ROW 4: Ch-5, sk 1st st, and ch-2 sp, dc next st, * 2 dc next sp, dc next st, ch-2, sk next 2 sts, dc next st, (ch-2, sk next ch-2 sp, dc next st) twice * rep bet ** across ending with 2 dc next st, dc next st, ch-2, sk next 2 sts, dc next st, ch-2, dc in 3rch ch or previous row’s ch-5, turn.

ROW 5-8: Rep row 4. End row 8 fasten off.

EDGING PURSE FRONT AND BACK:
