Patterns Written In US Terms

LEGS:
With Red and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, join Yellow, fasten off Red, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
RND 3: Bk Lp hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 4-5: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 6: Hdc next 6 sts, dc next 6, hdc last 6 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 7: Sl st next 6 sts, dc next 6 sts, sl st last 6 sts, fasten off.
-make 4.  Stuff and sew to the bottom of the animal with rnd 6&7’s dc sts to the sides.
HIND QUARTERS:
With Yellow and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (12 sts)
RND 2: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.  (18 sts)
ROW 3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) 7 times, sl st next st, lever remaining sts unworked, fasten off.  (21 sts)

-make 2.  Sew above back legs with row 3 over lapping the top of the leg and stuff as you sew.
