RND 2: Bk Lp hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 3: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
-make for. Stuff ea leg and sew to the bottom of the body. Find the center along the dog’s back. Insert the cut end of one spring bet sts and twist so it will stay. Rep twice more on that side and 3 times on the other side. With needle and yarn tack to pulled out spring to the dog’s side so that it slinks down to its feet. You will also need to tie the springs tog at their centers so that they form a continuous “fur” across ea side.
TAIL:
ROW 1: With Lemon yarn and F hook ch-6, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, turn. (5 sts)
ROW 2: (Ch-8, sl st next st) across, ch-1, turn. (5 lps made)
ROW 3: Press lps to bk of pieces, sc ea st across, turn.
ROW 4-11: Rep row 2-3. End row 11 fasten off.
Fold tail in half lengthwise and sew close. Sew tail on the dog’s behind.
HEAD:
RND 1: With Lemon yarn and F hook ch-8, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 4 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation row (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next 4, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, turn. (14 sts)
RND 2: (Ch-8, sl st next st) around, ch-1, turn. (14 lps made)
RND 3: Press lp to bk of piece, 2 hdc next st, hdc next 4, 2 hdc next 3, hdc next 4, 2 hdc last 2 sts, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (20 sts)
RND 4-10: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. End rnd 10 fasten off.
BOTTOM FOR HEAD:
RND 1: With Lemon yarn and F hook ch-8, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc next 4 ch, 3 hdc last ch, turn piece so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation row (in bottom of sts just made), hdc next 4, 2 hdc last, sl st top beg hdc, turn. (14 sts)

DOG’S MUZZLE:
With Lemon yarn and F hook ch-2, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, turn. (12 sts)
